Parloa is a Germany-based tech startup founded in 2018 as a platform focused on developing conversational artificial intelligence. The company recently secured $66 million in Series B funding from well-known venture capitalist Altimeter Capital, among others

The core product is an AI-based conversational voice platform for enterprise customer service and automated communications. The platform combines proprietary and open-source large-scale language models to recognize speech and generate natural language conversational responses to automate voice intelligence. The company has also developed a customized telephony infrastructure to minimize voice latency, and its customers include some of Europe's largest corporations, such as Swiss life insurer and retailer Decathlon, which use the Parloa platform to automate customer communication processes.
